Intech Group is the main shareholder of Propartner Defence, a full service Electronic Manufacturer Service (EMS) provider focused on the defense industry. In the previous fiscal year, the revenue of Propartner Defence, considered a high-growth company, was close to 70 Million NOK.
In the past, Keytouch and Propartner Defence also acted as sub-suppliers to each other. Hence both parties trigger a significant synergy effect which will be to the best for our customers. Acting as one single unit, the companies will increase the flexibility in their offerings and reduce time-to-market for new products.
Keytouch and Propartner Defence are two companies with a very good match. This industrial acquisition will strengthen both companies focus on R&D/D&D. With this acquisition we have gained accessed to a very competent engineering team within design and mechatronics, Mr. Hans Arne Flåto, the Managing Director of PropartnerDefence says.
Both companies markets products and services to a lot of the same customers and therefore can serve the customers even better than before. In the future we will also be able to focus more on our own certified products and patents, Mr. Erik Jensen and Mr. Arild Henriksen of Keytouch says.
We have already started the work to co ‘ordinate the manufacturing and products development. Propartner Defence has several thousands of square meters of unoccupied production facilities and will gather the production as soon as possible, Mr. Hans Arne Flåto, Managing Director of Propartner Defence says.
